Whether you wear your hair up or down, or in a ponytail, there is always an easy way to make it look glamorous. NYC hair stylists at Lance Lappin salon in TriBeCa .
The easiest way to take an ordinary hairstyle to another level is to bejewel it with headband or pins. The headbands vary from mini-skinny to skinny, but all without exception boast nice, shiny crystals. Bejeweled bobby pins are functional and add a touch of sophistication. They look great in an evening gown with a half updo or in a simple ponytail and your favorite jeans.
My favorite hairstyle for long hair is the side-swept braid. It’s similar in structure to the fishtail braid but not as tight and constructed. It is not easy to make it look so naturally loose and unfussy. Think of it as the feminine version of “bed head”. Pull some random pieces of hair out of the braid and wave them with the curling iron. It’s really not complicated, but you have to pay attention to the movement of the hair and go with it. From here you add a simple not overly “blingy” pin and you have one gorgeous look.

This is such a beautiful style…. so elegant and masterfully executed! Makes me want to grow out my hair just so I can wear it up!
