These photographs represent a selection from a larger body of work entitled “old Habits Die hard”. The purpose of this project was driven from an inner desire to explore and experiment the universal “types” of photography. The result is a feeling of disparate themes gathering along the edges of unity and conflict. Some of the photographs in this selection were born out of a subconscious place, whereas others were found. ~ Max Basch
Lance Lappin Salon in TriBeCa is hosting a photo exhibit.
Max Basch is a young artist dividing his time between Manhattan and upstate NY. He just recently graduated from Bard College in May 2011 with a BA in Photography. He started taking photographs after he received his first camera as a gift from his father, who bought the camera in response to a suggestion made by a traveling psychic. Today, he spends his time photographing and manipulating popular “over seen” landscapes. His work will be on display at the salon until January.
